A blog about autism by my brother

Best thing about being autistic – good sight. Once I found my mum’s phone all the way across the park, it looked like a small red plastic straw, it was so far away. I went to check it out because it looked too thick to be a straw and it was her phone. She gave me £10, because she didn’t have to buy a new phone.

Worst thing about being autistic – bad teachers. Being made to move from the good break area into one that is just rock roads and some football fields. As if any one would want to play football at that age, I was 6. And how are you supposed to tackle when the floor is covered in spiky sharp stone.

Funniest thing about being autistic – tongue so big I bite both sides at once sometimes (but that is not because I am autistic).

Do your teachers know a lot about autism? – I don’t really pay attention to them

What is your favourite activity at school – petting the school dog

What is your least favourite part of school – music because I don’t need it, it is completely unnecessary and I am forced to do it anyway. And one time I put in the correct answer and they still marked it wrong. It was a matter of opinion, and it was my opinion, so it was right.

Would you change being autistic – no I don’t really care. It would probably change my personality and my likes and dislikes and then my pokémon games and VR games would be ruined for me

My likes: monster hunter, eating discontinued noodles, lunchtime, breaktime and hometime (at school), my dog’s teeth, Pokémon romhacks

My dislikes: Many foods, I am very picky with food, going outside, school (all of the schools I have been to and home school).
